You are sitting in the yellow post bus and enjoying the sight of deep gorges, high mountains and breathtaking waterfalls. And you are listening to the audio guide, filling you in on the background of what you are seeing. What a fabulous day's outing!

A post bus leaves Meiringen every day in summer and drives over four passes: the Grimsel, Nufenen, Gotthard and Furka. In the summer of 2007 Texetera created an audio guide in four languages for this round trip. As you travel you will hear all about the history of the Alpine passes and the geography of the Alps and learn about the Alpine region today.
And for this, GPS technology comes into its own. A satellite signal starts up the relevant audio file at exactly the right spot. The coupling of GPS technology with audio content talking about the very thing you are going past, makes this audio guide something really special. It's as if the person sitting next to you is telling you all about what you can see through the window...
The four pass trip operates in the summer months, starting in June. You can find more information about it on the website of PostAuto Schweiz AG.
