Ferdinand Hodler in Bern's Museum of Fine Arts

Bern's Museum of Fine Arts put on one of the most important and comprehensive exhibitions ever held of the work of Swiss artist Ferdinand Hodler from April 9 to August 10 2008. It revolved around Hodler's vision of the great harmonious unity between Man and Nature.

Of the more than 150 major works in the exhibition, two dozen were selected for detailed consideration. Texetera's audio guide explained and interpreted the paintings and showed how they related to each other. A visit to the exhibition was an experience for eyes AND ears.
