Charles the Bold lived from 1433 until 1477 and was one of the wealthiest rulers in Europe. The battles of Grandson, Murten and Nancy are part of Swiss and European history.
The Historical Museum of Bern put on a spectacular exhibition in 2008 focusing on the life and times of Charles the Bold, Duke of Bugundy. In room after room, visitors were entranced by masterpieces of late mediaeval art, beguiled by the glamour of chivalry and dazzled by the splendour of court ceremonial.
Texetera, which had already worked with the museum for the Einstein exhibition, produced another very special audio guide for Charles the Bold. The use of music from his time, and the concise, easy-to-follow explanations made the visit a compelling and informative experience. On iPod of course.
