Bern Cathedral

Built in the 15th century, Bern Cathedral is regarded as one of Switzerland's major late Gothic buildings. Since 2006 visitors have been able to take a 45 minute tour with Texetera's audio guide to discover the most important points inside and outside the cathedral.

Texetera and the Cathedral worked closely together to write the text. The clients decided not to include music or original sound effects. This example shows that even when the budget is tight, it's perfectly possible to produce an effective audio guide. The audio guide is available in four languages. It is installed on an iPod nano and can be hired at the Cathedral's information desk.
